Project Life - Week 17 (April 23rd - 29th)

Week 17. Back into the swing of things at home. The weather has turned nice here, so it's time to be working outside on projects. Thus, all our the inside-the-house projects will be suspended until next fall from here on out.

- We bit the bullet and went to Runnings to buy the rest of the materials we need for fencing.
- Chris and Gary invested in a new (to them) used 4 row planter. They are planning on planting corn at Grandma's farm outside of town.
- One of my new earrings from Kenya - elephants!
- Weekly Recap
- Burritos from the Taco House in Milford :)
- Receipt for tabs for my motorcycle. It's that time of year again!
- Chris's trailer rigged up for stringing fence behind the 4 wheeler
- Got the motorcycles out for the year. It's been so nice out!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Motorcycle Class

This past weekend I took the Basic RiderCourse from Ride Safe, Ride Smart! in the parking lot of Windom's high school. At the end of the two day course I have my motorcycle endorsement!!!

It was a cold, windy weekend, so I wore my snowmobile coat to help keep me warm. I rode a Kawasaki Eliminator named Josh. I had a lot of fun, however, by the end of each day I was just exhausted!

Below are some pics from the weekend.

Not sure what I was practicing here...

The cone weave.

Practicing cornering? or perhaps shifting??? Hmm?

Here is a pic of group: Me, Justin, Dean, Mike, Stacie, Joe, Leah, Instructor Brent, Kari, & Instructor Debbie. What a great weekend!

Shiny, New, & Blue

OK, so this post should have been before the girls weekend post, but I totally forgot to post it first. Apparently, I am not so on top of this whole blogging thing.

I finally took my motorcycle permit test. So now I can drive a motorcycle with a few restrictions: no night riding, no interstate riding, no passengers, and I must wear a helmet.

So, I bought myself a motorcycle! :)

It's a 2004 Yamaha 650 V-star. And it makes me happy! (although I must admit I am a little scared of it too)
I am taking a motorcycle class in a few weekends (it's a two day class) to get some more experience and get my license. Yay!
